Fully Paid

In April 2004, with the blessings of my parents, Dad and I mortgaged our property to have our house renovated to accommodate 2 families.  72 months of paying religiously was no easy task.  It required budgeting and owning up to the responsibility.  Being in housing loans, I knew the added expense and difficulty when you fail to pay.  It was also embarrassing if I couldn’t own up to what I tell my clients.
Thanks to Mom, who has generously advanced paying off our mortgage.  She was working on transferring the title to me and my sister late last year to save up on estate taxes and decided to use her retirement money so she could finish what she started.   Not only do we save on interest, because we will still have to pay her off, but the investment my parents made is secure for at least another generation. :).  Very win-win!

Will just have to show mommy the computation and prepare a record of some sorts.
