Varying Emotions

This past two (2) days  has placed our feelings, as an individual or collectively as a country, in both ends of the emotional spectrum.

One day we were horrified, ashamed and saddened with what happened to the HongKong tourists at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila.  Then come today, we're all glued to our TVs and YouTube watching the coverage and became happy and supportive for our Ms. Philippines placing 4th in this year's Ms. Universe competition.

I'm sure a lot of posts and comments have now been made about these two (2) issues that have ruled the Filipinos lives this week.  Unfortunately, its the former incident shall remain in our minds longer with all the related issues coming up, such as decline of tourism in the country and the treatment of the OFWs abroad. More than the emerging new 'major, major' comment.

I pray the the hostage issue will be resolved the soonest possible time.

Ako rin, I'm sad to hear about the result in the hostage incident in Manila. Nakaka-heart-wrenching, I wonder what's PNP's next move about it. They must harness some skills and training, better than they did on that. We can pray for better and may the souls of those victims be at peace with God.

BTW, Judy, I'm inviting you to join my blog's 2nd anniv giveaway. :)

hi mommy judy!

sorry haven't visited soon. been so busy the past 2 weeks.

about the hostage incident, i think what happened is a reflection of the state of our police force. i think the government should learn from this (instead of pointing fingers at each other)

about ms universe, in my opinion, we shouldn't blame venus raj. yes, sayang.. but it's a feat in itself to be included in the top 5.

anyway, it's so nice to see you again in blogspot! :)
