I love impromptu dinners. Dad and I were both out on OB (official business trips) and we all met after Busy Boy’s shootout leveling in school by early evening. More often than not, we eat out during these times especially if we have Nanay C with us. Busy Boy suggested we dine at Recipes.
Recipes located at Shangrila’s 5th level is one of our favorite restaurants to eat in. We just love the home cooked goodness of the dishes, the simplicity of the viands to choose from and the price is just right. Though my boys love General’s Chicken (their best seller), my favorite is this veggie dish…
Made from chopped baguio beans, coconut milk and ground pork, the dash of sili makes it a yummy treat for the rest of us. (Picture from blogalag.com). For those with low tolerance for spicy foods, you can instruct the waiter to make it mild. I prefer somewhere in the middle. After a filling meal, tiredness from the day’s work and walking around the mall settles in so nothing left to do but go home.
