Little Lolo

‘Lolo’ is Grandfather in Filipino.

A few things that remind me of Papa is now eminent with my son.  His love for books and peanut butter.

I must admit the love for books was brainwashed/incorporated little by little and still ongoing.  Lately, I’m glad that he prefers reading when he has time to wait instead of that i_ad gadget.

His preference for peanut butter was no surprise either. Back then, my Papa was the first to come home from work around 4-5pm   330-4pm (as corrected by my home by 330pm sister).  Maybe he’d always take his snack with then 1-3 year old Busy Boy.  Ever since, just like my father,  my son prefers peanut butter, even for recess.

This was a midweek snack out yesterday. Dad had a meeting in Makati and they had to go with him after dismissal.  We’ve been planning to visit PB & Co for quite a while and try out their fares. This was their Paseo Center branch. I couldn’t make it this trip due to a meeting so Busy Boy was there with Auntie.  I was picked up afterwards.

As much as he’s a fan of peanut butter, Busy Boy wasn’t adventurous enough to try the pasta and opted for a sandwich.  Maybe next time when he’s with me. :)
