We went to MOA today to watch the NBA 3on3 which was mercilessly promoted at NBA TV the past month. We thought there were a lot of activities besides the main event. Sadly, there weren’t enough participants that the organizers invited spectators to join an impromptu 2by2 game. After travelling all the way to such a faraway mall, we thought our afternoon was all for naught.
In another part of MOA, a Transformers event was being hosted by Toy Kingdom so we decided to have a look. There was an ongoing game where a few boys where shooting at Megatron using a Nerf gun. That got my boys’ attention and they promptly fell in line. Only to find out you have to list down your name and wait until you get drawn from the fishbowl.
And so we did.
It took a while because the host was grouping the kids according to age level.
After what seemed like eternity (1hour or so), Busy Boy was finally picked - thanks to Sarah, the girl beside him. The game, Search a Word!! One who finds the most robots wins…
4 minutes and 7 words later…
Wohooo! That smile and that winner feeling Busy Boy had was all we needed to cap a nice long day..
I was telling Dad, that this was a game he learned from me.. not much physical skills involved.. :) Stage parents alert I know, but at least Busy Boy is happy and very fulfilled.
Chalk up another weekend experience!
